Fur Leather Coats

PETA endorsing celebrities are kind of hypocrites, aren’t they?

Eva Mendes has that whole campaign “I’d rather go naked than wear fur”
BUT THEN, she holds leather bags, leather shoes, her car seats are leather, etc etc
I mean…. leather comes from skinning an animal, too, right?
And fur is just what’s on top of the leather?
SO i mean… if she’s going to use leather to make a bag… why not put the fur to use as well? (Makes no sense using the animal skin to make a bag, then throwing the fur away… =S)

Also, she eats meat… I mean.. to me, it’s sort of hypocritical.

And in France, they eat rabbit, so what’s so wrong about making a coat out of rabbit fur?
If rabbits are eaten as a delicacy, why not just use the rabbit skin and fur to make something else??

The entire PETA campaigns seem reallyyy hypocritical to me. =S

How can I jazz up my uniform?

Ok, I go to a school where we have to wear uniform. There are absolutely ridiculous rules about what you can and can’t wear, so how do I jazz it up whilst sticking to this AWFUL dress code:

Blazers must be worn all year round (Navy blue)
Blouse is Navy blue and white striped like this http://www.rafcollection.com/images/products/detail/RAFM8122A.jpg
Jumper must be worn (Navy Blue)

Skirts must be below the knee (Even though we roll it up) and must be worn with either black, navy bue or flesh coloured tights.

No jewelry is allowed unless it’s of a religious nature and the only coats we can wear are black and must not be fur, denim or leather.

Scarves gloves and hats must be blue or black. Shoes must be black with sensible heel, no sling back, sandals, basically **** shoes.

So, how do I jazz up this mess of a uniform?
Thanks
And the only hair accesories we can wear are blue or black.

Women’s effort to please men!?

Three girl friends have met up for their weekly meal together and are discussing their relationships. One of them is engaged, one is a mistress and the other is married.

They decide that to try and surprise their men that night all three will dress up in a leather S&M style bodice, red stilettos and a mask.

The next week they meet up again and compare their experiences.

The engaged girl says, “The other night, when my fiance came home, he found me in the leather bodice, the high red stilettos and mask covering my eyes. As soon as he saw me he grabbed me saying ‘I love you’ and carried me upstairs where we made love all night.”

The mistress says, “I went up to my lover’s hotel room where he was waiting for me and knocked on the door. I was wearing the leather bodice, the red stilettos, and the mask, with my fur coat on top. When I entered the room and dropped my coat to the floor, he said ‘Wow’ and we made love all night.”

The married girl say “Hmmph, I got myself dressed up the same as you two, leather bodice, red stilettos and mask over my eyes and waited for my husband to get home from work.”

“He opened the door, came in and said “Good evening Batman, what’s for dinner?”

Politically correct, everything is politically correct, what is the problem?

Look, I believe that racism is wrong. Attacking the color of any person’s skin is not only wrong but shows a great ignorance. Look I am a real person. Until I got pregnant, I smoked cigarettes. I don’t smoke right now, but after I have my daughter I just might. I am a meat eating nut. Give me a steak and a potato and I devour it. I wear leather shoes and own several real leather purses. As soon as I can find the best one, I am going to buy a real fur coat. I use aerosol hair spray and never use public transportation. It is a rabbit or something that keeps eating my flowers and he will meet his maker. I refuse to live my live fiber deficient. What is the problem? Why must everything be such a federal case. When are people going to just relax and live?
Second hand smoke is bogus. Unless you sit beside a smoker for years. There is no fresh aier in the world. Between car exhaust, big factories, and things burning everday, that is the second hand contamination. Maybe instead of attacking smokers, a letter should be written to those companies. Until all these other factors stop. The “second hand” smoke theory went up in smoke.
Please, a few sprays of aerosol hair spray is not going to destroy the world genius. While my hair is looking like crap, big businesses is still doing thier thing and destroying the ozone.
Sex??? Drunk driving, now that is a stretch. I am already a parent. I never smoked in front of my child. Please.

Should i consider myself as a vegetarian or not?

I don’t eat meat.

But i DO eat products that contain by-products like gelatin (gummy bears), eggs (cake), rennet (cheese) etc…

Also…i DO have a purse that contains a bit of leather. A wool coat and fur boots. Don’t hate me for this.

I just don’t eat meat because i think it’s gross and i simply can’t imagine shoving a dead animal down my throat. Just because i don’t eat meat, people label me as a vegetarian.

So should i call myself a vegetarian?
Or just simply a person who doesn’t eat meat?
IDK if i should call myself a vegetarian since i do consume and use animal by-products and it seems very wrong since i’m not animal-free.

Good carpet shampooer and carpet shampoo for cat allergies?

And how often should the carpets be shampooed? My husband is fine with the cat at his parents when he lived there, who has very long glossy fur. We just got married and moved to a townhome with more carpet cover than his parent’s house. Any pet lovers with allergies have any recommendations? Obviously we will be keeping any cat/cats out of the bedroom, and none of the furniture is cloth (except for the couch, which we will get a slip cover for so I can just pop it in the wash to clean it, and eventually get a leather couch instead). We already have a great vacuum (Eureka with an enclosed Hepa filter, was very highly rated on consumer reports for pet fur/dander). I’m going to get a very good pet brush too and brush our future cat/cats everyday (we want up to 2 cats, but will probably start with one just to see). We plan on getting short hairs with courser coats since I heard that is better for allergies. Just so you know what we have though of in addition to cleaning carpets.
