How can you repair a leather coat?

I have a lambskin coat that my cat loves. Unfortuantely he loves to chew it. The pieces are still there, but there are cuts in the material. Is there anything out there that will let me seal the holes without looking terrible or making the leather stiff.

whats tougher, a lambskin leather jacket or a sports coat?

just curious. i know lambskin is weak compared to other types of leather like cow hide, but is it weeker than cotton
