Linen white layered top is from Crack Gallery (also in Downtown LA) Brown suede/faux leather blazer / jacket is from H&M (only $40!) and jade necklace with gold / yellow chain is from Banana Republic (cute seashell to hook on) and faux diamond gold rings are from H&M (only $6, omg!) Mirellie Mathieu L’Homme A La Moto (Chante Piaf)-w/English Translation

Here is the internationally known recording artist from France, Mireille Mathieu. Besides her native French, she has recorded in several European languages, including Spanish, Italian, English, Russian and German. She is the eldest in a family of 14 children. After her debut performance at the Olympia in Paris, in 1965, she immediately became recognized as another Edith Piaf, due to her exceptional voice, full of class, color and sensitivity! In her CD titled, Chante Piaf, she pays special tribute to her vocal role model, the legendary Edith Piaf, singing such classics as La Vie En Rose. The song L’Homme A La Moto is a Piaf classic, about a tough troublemaker motorcyclist in the neighborhood, with black leather jacket, boots and tattoo. He spreads terror every place he rides. One night, as he is about to leave on his motorcycle, his girlfriend begs him to stay. But her words and tears get lost in the loud noise of the engine, as he takes off like a cannonball. Later, they found his boots and pants. However, there was no trace of his motorcycle, or the demon that he once was. That once seemingly indestructible public nuisance was reduced to nothing.
